This video provides practical examples of ‘what not to do vs what to do’ in a counseling session.  It includes 4 short videos: Inappropriate vs Appropriate self-disclosure, asking Close-ended Questions vs Open-ended Questions, Simplistic vs Proper use of Scripture, and Inauthentic vs Authentic Communication’. It represents a counseling session, and will, for training purposes, move faster than an average session might. This video can be shown with Module 6 of the ETC training, as ABC Level 2 video observation hours, or for continued education with current certified biblical counselors.
