This video provides an example of sharing a passage of Scripture in a session. It represents a counseling session, and will, for training purposes, move faster than an average session might.  The counselor has met with this person for several sessions. This video can be shown with Module 3 of the ETC training, as an example of Sessions 8 or 9 in the Mini Practicum, as ABC Level 2 video observation hours, or for continued education with current certified biblical counselors.

Note: Pastors often provide counseling for people of the opposite sex. This is a model of a pastor counseling a member of his congregation. If at all possible, best practices also would have the counselee’s advocate in the room when providing pastoral counseling and care.
